My favorite technology is the basic cell phone! I do not like the phones with all the bells and whistles. The simpler the better.

Puppy Love

This image is a reminder to me of a pet chocolate brown Cocker Spaniel I once owned. They are so similar in looks it's eerie. The picture brings back happy memories. I probably will adopt another dog in the future.

Flickr

Flickr seems very interesting, but very complicated to use! I plan on getting more information about this technology. There are many pictures that I would like to post on my blog. I would also like to receive posts from my family and friends with attachments. At this time however, I do not want to subscribe to a yahoo account in order to receive Flickr. I am not sure if Flickr is obtainable without such an account.

Blogging in libraries

Blogging can be a useful tool for the library, as we can share a mixture of ideas. It can be most useful for book discussion groups.

I can and I will

After viewing the 7 1/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners, I feel that I incorporate many of these habits mentioned, into my life on a daily basis. Obviously, the fact that I work in a library, and am surrounded by a wealth of resources to further my knowledge helps! The use of technology will be the most difficult part for me. I am not computer savvy. I do not have a computer at home with the newest software programs to practice on. I have taken computer classes at school only to find out that if you do not practice, often the skills can easily be forgotten. I am setting a goal to become more computer literate.
